7 Songs for Easter Weekend

Easter Playlist for blog

Hello Everyone!

Easter week is just crazy for me, and I mean that in the very best way. Jesus is seriously the best, and He’s showing me that more and more. I love this time of contemplation and celebration for all He did. The literal Son of God died for me, He took my punishment, He took the weight of my sin and bore it on his own shoulders so I can live in perfect communion with him for eternity. I’m continually humbled and awestruck. It’s Good Friday and I put together a mini playlist with some songs for this weekend. Some are for today, to remember the Cross, some are for Sunday, when we celebrate new life and the joy of our Savior, Jesus.

  1. Royal Blood by Rend Collective

This was won upon the cross
This was written on his scars
This has made us conquerors
Nothing but Your royal blood

2. Blessed Redeemer by Casting Crowns

Blessed Redeemer, precious Redeemer
Seems now I see Him on Calvary’s tree

3. Should’ve Been Me by Citizen Way

Leaves me saying thank God
For this heart you changed
This soul you raised
My God for taking my place

4. How Can It Be by Lauren Daigle

You gave Your life
To give me mine
You say that I am free
How can it be

5. Messiah/ You’re Beautiful by Phil Wickham

I see You there hanging on a tree
You bled and then you died and then you rose again for me
Now You are sitting on Your heavenly throne
Soon we will be coming home
You’re beautiful

6. Drops In The Ocean by Hawk Nelson

If you could count the times I’d say you are forgiven
It’s more than the drops in the ocean

7.  Best News Ever by MercyMe

What if I were the One to tell you
That the work’s already been done
It’s now good news
It’s the best news ever

Have an amazing weekend,  celebrating Jesus!

I’m very busy this week baking and preparing for Thanksgiving so I’m just sharing a quick playlist! Bully meme

Whether you are being bullied by in person, cyber bullying or your friends ditched you. Maybe no one is being mean, maybe you just feel down because everyone else seems to have their life together an you don’t. No matter what sometimes you come home feeling bad/sad/depressed. I have always found that when I feel sad I listen to music. That’s why I made this playlist, so next time you feel bad, put this on and turn up your music real loud and let the words soak in.

Standing up for what you believe in is really not that  fun sometimes. But just remember, If you are being rejected an cast aside because of Jesus, then who cares what the people are saying. Jesus is all that matters. So stand out. Be unusual.

Gold by Britt Nicole

We are constantly looking around us, comparing ourselves to others. Even if everyone else treats you likIsaiah Verse for Bloge you are a heap of trash, or ignores you, just remember that in the eyes of God you are worth more than gold, and no one can take that away from you.

Shake it Off by Taylor Swift

Though this isn’t a Christian song, I love the what it saying. People are always going to be haters and do nasty stuff. Just shake it off and move on.

Sold Out by Hawk Nelson

Last but not least, remember that we are not here to live for ourselves, it is all God. So be sold out for Him. You are living for Christ, so don’t let anyone distract you from that.
